TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that range is broad.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
Everything in one place, covering regulation, here withdrawals, pricing, and check here the bonus click here terms, is at Trade The Day.
